Electric Utility

There are over 2,500 electrical utility-related injuries yearly.
>125 were fatal.

Distribution
To increase safety and efficiency in some of the country’s most critical infrastructure projects, Sky Scape deploys drone systems to obtain actionable data of critical assets.
From periodic inspections to emergency response, the data is made available to clients quickly and accurately.

Substation
Substation inspection frequency varies by a number of factors. In order to increase safety and reduce costs, sUAS/IR technology proves that both routine and emergent inspection processes can be conducted effectively. The actionable data collected means utility companies only need to send terrestrial assets in AFTER an issue is identified.

Right of Way

Maintaining sufficient Right-of-Way (ROW) is crucial to infrastructure integrity. Advance sensing proves valuable in that both existing and new data sets can be acquired effectively.

Actionable Data

An electric grid is only as effective as the equipment that delivers the energy to its customers. Distribution inspections are either 1.) very time consuming due to the use of bucket trucks or 2.) very disruptive to the public if using helicopters. Drones prove not only cost-effective but also virtually inaudible. Drones allow for effective distribution aerial inspection without disturbing the public.
